Emily is a long-time resident of Oceanside and has been married to her husband John for 50 years. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
She has served three terms on the Oceanside Unified School District Board of Education. During her service to the district, she has held all three board offices at least twice. Emily was also a member of the Library Board of Trustees in the late 90’s.
Emily’s community involvement includes KOCT and Title V. She enjoys crafts and is a wanna-a-bee quilter.
