Suzanne Williams is a native Californian. Her holds a BA from Westmont College, a Secondary Teaching Credential from UC Berkeley, a MS in Clinical Counseling from CSU Hayward, and additional credentials from Hayward and UC Riverside.

Suzanne spent 34 years as a teacher teaching grades K-12, and working with  both Gifted and Special Needs students.

In addition to serving on the Library Foundation Board, Suzanne is also President of the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library and the editor of the Friends’ See Gull newsletter. She also serves in several capacities on the Board of the Oceanside Pacific Kiwanis.

In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys weightlifting and bicycling at the Mottino YMCA, and is an active member of Oceanside’s First Presbyterian Church.

Libraries have always been a special part of Suzanne’s life. They have been instrumental in both helping her to define her dreams and in assisting her with achieving her goals.
